How we use AI

We use modern AI tools to help with research and first drafts, the same way we use a spellchecker or a spreadsheet. They make us faster. They do not make our decisions and they do not have the final word.

• Some pages are drafted with AI and published automatically after automated quality checks. We do not claim a human reviewed a page unless a review was logged, and we say so on the page.
• AI does not give regulated advice. FundBiz is an information site, not a regulated adviser. Our content is general information, not personal financial, legal or tax advice.
• We do not publish fabricated reviews, testimonials or lender data. Company numbers, founding years and FCA references are taken from primary sources or left out.
• Nothing on FundBiz decides who gets funded. We do not score or match enquiries. We pass them to a business finance broker, and any lending decision is made by a lender on its own process.
• Personal data handled by AI tools is processed in line with our privacy notice and UK data protection law.

Our use of AI is guided by UK data protection law and the ICO's guidance on AI and automated decision-making. We do not use AI to make decisions about the people who send us enquiries.

Named authorship and editorial standards

Every page carries a named author and a date. We do not publish paid-for rankings, and any sponsored material is labelled as such with the sponsor named. The full detail is in our editorial policy, and you can see the people behind the content on our authors page.

Fact-checking and sources

We check factual claims against primary sources, not other websites. Automated drafts are checked by automated quality gates, which can miss things, so please tell us about any error. The sources we use:

• Entities verified against Companies House.
• Regulated firms checked on the FCA Register.
• Rate context taken from the Bank of England base rate.
• Product terms taken from the lender's own current documentation.

Corrections

If something is wrong, tell us and we will fix it. Email editorial@fundbiz.co.uk with the page address and what is incorrect. We respond within two working days. We check the point against a primary source and correct the page if it's wrong; the page's "Last updated" date moves with the change, and material corrections go in a public log. Complaints

If you are unhappy with our service, we want to hear about it. Email complaints@fundbiz.co.uk or write to Best Business Loans Ltd, and please include your name, how to reach you, and what went wrong.

We acknowledge every complaint within two working days and aim to give a full response within four weeks. FundBiz passes enquiries to FundingXperts Ltd and is not the provider of any credit agreement, so a complaint about a specific finance product may also need to go to the provider that issued it; we will point you to the right place if so.

Your data

If you send an enquiry, we pass your details to one business finance broker, FundingXperts Ltd, and we tell you this on the form before you send it. We do not pass your details to lenders. What we hold, why, and how to ask us to delete it is set out in our privacy notice and cookie policy.

If you need extra help

If anything on this site, or the enquiry process, is hard to use because of your health, a disability, your circumstances or anything else, tell us. Email support@fundbiz.co.uk or use our contact page, and we will try to give you the same information another way, for example by email or in a simpler format. FundBiz is not a lender and cannot change a lender's or broker's own processes, but we can point you to their support. Our accessibility statement explains how to make the site easier to read.

Who's behind this

FundBiz is operated by Best Business Loans Ltd (company number 16833937). The same company also operates three other UK business-finance sites: MerchantHQ (card payments and terminals), Market Invoice (invoice finance), and LTD Turnaround (information for company directors in financial difficulty).

Each site specialises in a different part of UK business finance and is built, edited and reviewed by the same small team. We are not presenting these as separate independent businesses; they share an owner, a codebase and the editorial standards on this page.
