FundBiz is operated by Best Business Loans Ltd (Companies House 16833937). The site introduces UK limited companies, LLPs and partnerships of four or more members to commercial lenders. Commercial lending to a body corporate is generally outside the FCA perimeter, so this introducer activity is not regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority.

We do not work with sole traders or unincorporated businesses. This is intentional: those borrowers fall under consumer-credit regulation, which requires regulated permissions we do not hold.

Not financial advice

The matcher routes you to lenders most likely to approve based on our data. It does not advise. We do not assess affordability, suitability or whether borrowing is the right decision for your business. For regulated commercial-finance advice, talk to your accountant or an FCA-authorised commercial finance broker.

Approval is the lender's decision

We pass your application data to the lender(s) you select. The lender's own underwriting team makes the decision and may decline even where the matcher predicted a high approval probability. Underwriting depends on data we cannot see (credit-file detail, current bank-account behaviour, deeper Companies House inspection).

Rates and terms

Where we display headline rates, ticket bands or decision times, these are taken from lender-published material and our panel-conversion data. They are guidance, not offers. The actual rate you are offered depends on the lender's underwriting decision for your specific business.

Commission disclosure

Lenders pay FundBiz commission on completed introductions. Commission tier is a tie-breaker in matcher ranking, never a primary criterion. The full mechanics are set out in how we are funded and how we work.
