About FundBiz
FundBiz is the UK's specialty SMB finance comparison and matching site for limited companies. Eligibility checkers, calculators, sector landers, and the post-decline matcher that diagnoses why an application was rejected and routes to a lender that fits.
What we do
We help UK limited companies find specialty business finance: merchant cash advance, asset finance, commercial mortgages, bridging loans, VAT funding, R&D advances, and the alternatives that come into play when a mainstream loan is declined. Pick a product, run an eligibility check, get matched to lenders most likely to approve you, and apply.
Where mainstream "best business loans" research is concerned, our sister site BestBusinessLoans handles the editorial reviews and "best for" listicles. FundBiz is where you go when you are ready to apply and want to compare lenders that will actually accept your business.
Who we work with
Limited companies (Ltd, LLP and partnerships of four or more) trading in the UK. We do not work with sole traders or unincorporated businesses on this site, partly because the regulatory landscape is different and partly because the lender panels we have built are tuned to corporate borrowers. If you are a sole trader, your accountant or a regulated consumer-credit broker will route you better than we will.
Typical ticket size: £1,000 to £250,000 working capital, growth funding, post-decline alternatives, asset finance and short-term bridging.
What makes us different
- Post-decline matching. The first eligibility flow on the site is the post-decline matcher: tell us why you were declined and we route to specialist lenders for that decline reason (CCJ, missed payments, thin file, sub-12-month trading, pre-revenue).
- Limited-company specialism. Cleaner regulatory position, faster decisions, no consumer-credit overhead. Lenders we work with know the gate is Ltd-only.
- Sector-aware lender routing. Hospitality, e-commerce, construction, recruitment, manufacturing each have lenders that specialise. Our matcher uses the SIC code to bias towards the right pool.
- No hidden lender panel. The full panel is on the How we work page. No black-box "100+ lenders" claim.
